The Skin and How to Clean it
The skin is one of the most important parts of the human body. It is the outer cover, sheltering the body from harmful and dangerous germs. The skin, being the front liner of our defense system, would be vulnerable to many health and beauty hazards like skin cancer, wrinkles, body odor and other kinds of infections. In this way, knowledge of how to clean and maintain the skin would help with its daily functions.
Lukewarm water would be a better choice than hot or cold water. Hot water can dehydrate or even burn the skin and cold water can dry the moisture off. Toning the skin will help keep it firm and clear. Always be gentle so that exfoliating the skin will only remove dead cells and not parts of the skin itself.
Keep the skin moisturized with Aloe Vera oil or Vitamin E. Non-moisturized skin would make it dry and wrinkles would begin to mark below the eyes wherein no natural oil keeps the skin healthy. Drinking plenty of water will also keep your skin hydrated; therefore, make sure that you take in the sufficient amount of water each day.
Cleaning and keeping the skin healthy must be a daily duty for both health and beauty’s sake. Keeping the skin in good condition will not only benefit one’s health but also help improve the physical appearance and even the self esteem of a person.
The younger a person is, the larger the vulnerability that she has to harmful germs, which is why, learning to cleanse the skin at an early age, would do a lot of help.
Using mild soaps and gentle cleansers are good for daily use.
It would also be best to avoid cleansers that are harsh and contain strong chemicals that could damage the epidermis and create unwanted clogged pores and skin blemishes.
