Sun Screens
- The Way To A Healthier Skin
You may not be particularly happy whenever wintertime is approaching. The extremely cold weather can give your skin quite a beating, after all. Dry, brittle or flaky skin is often brought about by the extreme weather conditions during winter.

You can always hide your skin with sweaters or long sleeved blouses at wintertime, but then, when summer comes along, that would not be appropriate at all.

Certainly, you cannot go out to the beach in your favorite tank top and bikini with all those blemishes showing, can you? Neither can you take a swim in full battle gear, so to speak.
If you want to show some skin on the first day of summer, you can do some things early on to make your skin healthy. A couple of weeks before winter officially ends, you can begin removing dead cells off the surface of your skin using a loofah or a piece of clothFollow this up with lotion and moisturizers.

When it is summertime, your skin needs extra protection too. The rays of the sun can be very harsh and so you must to wear sun protection to prevent sunburn. Sun protection products may have different SPFs or Sun Protection Factors.

If you are fair skinned, you will need a higher SPF product than if you are dark skinned. In order to prevent getting skin cancer as a result of the harmful rays of the sun,
choose a sunscreen product that is not below SPF 15.

Sunscreen products can be expensive, but treating skin cancer can be even more so. Be generous when applying sunscreen on your body. Apply it liberally on your body at least 15 minutes before you go out to meet the sun face to face, then reapply after a couple of hours.

Remember that as you sweat or go for a swim, you lose some degree of protection as the sunscreen becomes less effective, thus re-applying sunscreen is essential every two hours or whenever necessary.
